So I recently posted my go-to foundation which I have been using for ages like possibly more then 7 years lol. It is the Giorgio Armani lumunious silk. The name luminous silk is exactly how it feels on your skin. It is a really light foundation both in coverage and texture. For me it has always been enough coverage. Both my parents have really beautiful skin which I was blessed enough to inherit. Besides some slight colour pigmentation and the occasional pimple my skin is very clear and scar free so I have never needed a really thick foundation. I do take care of my skin as well and never (anymore eeek) tan my face. I wear this when I do a full face of makeup for an event and it lasts the whole time I am out. I also find a little goes a long way so it lasts me agessss which is great because it's a little more expensive then your cheaper brands. I don't wear liquid foundation every day though.
It is about $90 depending on where you get it from. I use colour 6.5 for winter and 9 for summer. 9 is really dark so if I haven't reached that level of tanned-ness (is that a word haha if not it is now) then I mix the two with a higher ratio of the 6.5.
So my new found makeup love is the Chanel Highlighter Face Pen Èclat Lumière . It is a concealer and the coverage is so great. I have found it lasts a lot longer then my previous one which was Maybelline Age Repair. I do like that one but I prefer the Chanel. The applicator brush is more like a makeup brush where as the Maybelline one is like a round sponge. I also love the colour of the Chanel concealer against my skin. I don't like the look where you can see the concealer and it's really white under the eyes especially in photo's so I apply my concealer underneath my Giorgio Armani foundation. This could be a makeup crime according to MUA's but I am doing what works for me :)
Hope you liked this little review of my fave products. If you want to know anything else just hola.
Much love
